Do you like spreadsheets?

We love them.

In Sovereign Soul we build spreadsheets for our members to use because the secret to the life they want is always in the numbers.

We find the hidden money and time in their life and reallocate it to reset their mindset.

We once polled our community to gauge the love/hate relationship of spreadsheets.

I hated math at school. I probably could have left at 14. I would have ticked #1 back then.

“No point” I thought. A lot of people think like this. And do so for the rest of their lives.

It was only when I started a business did math help me realise why I was losing money, what I needed to do about it, and how to make a lot more of it.

Because like it or not spreadsheets reveal so much.

They tell an amazing story of what happened in our financial life, and even better, they also predict the future.

They show the Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs)

Awareness Enables Action.

When they use the spreadsheets we built for them every member has what we call the ‘Oh sh*t’ moment.

They find hidden money because spreadsheets tell the story of the past, to unlock their future.

That money creates choice.

And when you choose how to spend your money, you get to choose how to spend your time.

Your life.

The numbers come to represent the things in your life that really make it worth living.

Because life isn’t money on a screen, or a spreadsheet.

Life is made of moments.

One of my ultimate lifestyle moments is watching a sunset, with family and friends.

When you get to watch a sunset you’ve chosen to spend that time in that way, at that time of the day. And with who, doing life together.

It's a sign of the end of a day well spent, on purpose.

Celebrated.

So I count sunsets.

They’re one of my KPIs.

They indicate how I'm performing in life. (Maybe I should invent Key Life Indicators).

If I count another sunset onto my sunset tally, I know I’m choosing the right things.

Swap spreadsheets for sunsets.

(But remember, you can't swap them till you do them, and use them)
